A new poll shows republican John McCain has taken the lead in Colorado.

According to the Quinnipac–Washington post–Wall Street Journal Survey, McCain is leading 46% to 44% over democrat Barack Obama in a tight race.

In the same poll last month.. Obama was up by five percentage points.

The poll has a margin of error of plus–or–minus 2.6 percent.
