Foreclosures in Colorado are up, and filings this year could top those seen in 2007.

Colorado public trustees, who keep track of foreclosure filings, reported that filings were up 8.6 percent during the second quarter.

The Colorado Division of Housing says forecasts suggest filings for 2008 may rise some 15 percent.
