Salida, Colo. (AP) - Murder warrants have been issued in the case of a woman who suspiciously fell to her death near Salida five years ago.

Dan Mason, 53, is now a suspect in the 2004 death of his wife, 47-year-old Nancy Mason. Nancy Mason died after falling from a 10-foot cliff into a stream, and her death was originally ruled an
accident.

But Chaffee County Coroner Randy Amettis ordered an inquest into the death to see if it was homicide. A jury issued murder warrants against Dan Mason and a friend of the couple, 33-year-old Efren Gallegos.

Investigators say Dan Mason may have wanted his wife dead to inherit money from her.
