Denver (AP) - Searchers in northern Colorado have found the body of a 19-year-old man who drowned while trying to swim across the lake at the foot of St. Mary's Glacier.
Clear Creek County Sheriff Don Krueger says Sean Anderson's drowning Saturday was the county's first such in ``probably over 15 years.''
KUSA-TV says the man and his three friends were trying to swim across the lake, where authorities say the water temperature was about 34 degrees. Crews responding to a report of the drowning Saturday night also rescued another 19-year-old man and treated the other two people at the scene.
Krueger says the water is so cold that the ``survival chances are just about nonexistent'' unless the person was a good swimmer.
