DENVER (AP) -- Colorado students will take a new statewide test
next year linking student performance to teacher evaluations to
support students who need to catch up.
The change comes after years of slow progress with current tests
as part of the Colorado Student Assessment Program, also known as
CSAP. This year, student academic performance test scores released
Wednesday were mostly flat.
According to the Denver Post the new
tests will be called the Transitional Colorado Assessment Program,
or the TCAP, during a transition to a new test by 2014.
