Fruit Dip
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 small jar marshmallow cream.
Method of Preparation:
Mix together well and chill. Serve with chunks of fresh fruit. This is delicious and so simple.



Sausage Balls
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 pound hot sausage
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup water
Method of Preparation:
Scramble sausage in pan and slighly brown. Pour off grease. Add Bisquick, cheese and water. Roll into small balls. place on cookie sheet. Bake at 400 to 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until brown.



Shrimp Dip
Ingredients Needed:
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups green onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnnaise
  • 3/4 to 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1 pound boiled shrimp. Remove shells before or after boiling
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method of Preparation
Mix all ingredients except shrimp in blender or with mixer. Fold in shrimp. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.



Meat Loaf
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 pound ground beef, lean
  • 1 cup craker crumbs
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Method of Preparation
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Place into oblong baking dish. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.



Barbecue Chicken in a Pot
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce, hickory flavor or the kind you prefer
  • 1 (10oz) bottle Coca-Cola
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method of Preparation:
Mix barbecue sauce, Coca-Cola, salt and pepper together. Place chicken pieces in large saucepan. Pour sauce mixture over chicken. Cook on medium heat for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally during cooking. Note:Skin chicken and remove any visible fat before cooking.



Baked Garlic Chicken
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 chicken
  • Garlic salt
  • Black Pepper

Method of Preparation:
Place large sheet of aluminun foil in bottom of baking dish. Rinse chicken in cold water and pat dry with paper towel. Sprinkle garlic salt generously inside cavity and on outside of chicken. Sprinkle black pepper on chicken. place on foil and wrap foil over to cover. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Uncover chicken during last half hour of cooking to brown.



Chicken Noodle Vegetable Bake
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 pkg. Kraft egg noodle and chicken dinner
  • 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp. milk
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 (10 0z) pkg, frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated cheddar cheese

Method of Preparation:
Follow directions on package to cook dinner. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Mix well. place into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and bak at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.



Biscuits
Ingredients Needed:
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 1/2 cup Crisco oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Method of Preparation:
Place flour in a bowl; add oil and buttermilk. Mix well. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface. Cut biscuits with biscuit cutter. Place on baking sheet; pat tops down. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.



Dirt Cake
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 large pkg. Oreo cookies
  • 3 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Method of Preparation:
Crush Oreos (to look like dirt). Mix together milk and pudding mix in large bowl. In separate bowl, mix cream cheese, butter and powdered sugar. Combine pudding mixture and creamed mixture. In bowl alternate layers of the crushed Oreos and mixture. Starting and ending with the crushed Oreos. Chill before serving.



Ice Box Fruit Cake
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 box vanilla wafers
  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • Fruit

Method of Preparation:

Crush Vanilla Wafers. Mix with fruit and nuts in bowl. Add milk and mix well. Pack into a pan lined with waxed paper. Keep in refrigerator one week before serving.



Chocolate Cherry Cake
Ingredients Needed:
  • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cherry pie filling
  • 2 eggs

Method of Preparation:
Mix by hand until mixed well. Pour batter into prepared 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until done. Ice with your favorite chocolate icing.
