CMU: Tom Spicer jumps on board as Director of Athletics

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - Today, Tom Spicer jumped on board the CMU train for his first day as the director of athletics.

He will head up Mesa's 23 varsity sports. He brings over 40 years of experience as a coach, instructor and administrator.

The last nine years was spent as the AD for Colorado School of Mines where he helped lead the school into RMAC contention. Now he's ready to go a step further with the Mavericks by getting our teams into national contention.
