CMU WBB: Mavericks move to 4-0 heading into conference play

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. The Colorado Mesa Mavericks are making it look easy early in their season. On Saturday night, they added a win over Dixie State to improve to 4-0 heading into conference play in less than a week.

The Lady Mavericks wrapped up their play in the Holiday Inn-Airport Thanksgiving Classic with another dominant victory. Their defense wasn't letting up, holding the Red Storm to just 18 points in the first half while they countered with 52.

Mesa senior Sharaya Selsor led the way with 23 points while her team notched an 87-53 victory.
