RMAC Baseball: CMU gets four-game sweep, outscores Regis 34-6

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Spurred by their three wins over the Regis Rangers on Saturday and Sunday in which they outscored their opponent 23-4 over that span, the Mavericks moved up a few spots in the DII coaches poll.

They were number 30 last week and they jumped to 27 on Monday.

Monday afternoon, they got the four game sweep, knocking off the Rangers 11-2.

Kyle Davis won his first game of the year, pitching six innings, while giving up just three hits and striking out five.

Kevan Elcock led the team with 3 RBI's.

They will host Colorado Mines in another four-game set next weekend.
