GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Just one game for the Mavericks this weekend, as both the men and women hosted the Western State Mountaineers.

The women had a bit of an off-game last week, but played much better Saturday night, taking a 17 point halftime lead and extending it in the second half for the big 82-46 win. They are now 24-0 with two away games remaining in the regular season.

The men knocked off the Mountaineers 85-63, and played a very nice all-around game, with six guys in double figures scoring. With New Mexico Highlands losing to Colorado Mines, the Mavs earn a spot in the RMAC tournament.
