RMAC Softball: CMU ends weekend with 8-0 shutout of Regis

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. After a 14-4 loss in their early Sunday game to CSU-Pueblo, the Maericks entered the final game of the weekend against Regis on a four-game skid.

Ashley Pulido took to the pitcher's circle in the later game and went the distance, pitching five innings of scoreless ball, including seven strikeouts.

Sarah Phillis hit her second home run in as many days; she went 2-2 with 3 RBI's. Karissa Nickeson went 1-1 with 2 RBI's, and Nicole Robinson was 2-2 with 1 RBI.

CMU ends their losing streak and will play next at Fort Lewis College April 5-6.
