GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Day number three of the MLB draft where the remaining players would be selected in the final 30 rounds. Coming into the first-year player draft we knew there were a handful of Colorado Mesa guys that have been garnering attention from major league organizations and would be selected in the latter rounds.

The first Mav came off the board in the 27th round. It was Nate Robertson being selected at number 810 overall by the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The shortstop had another tremendous season for CMU, batting .372 with six homers, 47 RBI's and 24 stolen bases. He was also one of only two guys on the team to play and start in every game.

Not far behind was senior pitcher Tyler Dunnington. He goes in round 28, pick 855 to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Dunnington appeared in 12 games this last season and posted a 2-0 record with 24 strikeouts in 14.1 innings work.
