KINGSVILLE, Texas (Colo.) - Colorado Mesa and St. Edward's fought to be the only remaining team without a loss in the South Central Regional, but St. Edward's walked away with the pride.

The Mavericks had a strong fourth inning, including two homeruns and brought in a total of five runs. They took a 5-2 lead and were able to hold on through the eighth, only allowing one run from St. Edward's.

Then the Hilltoppers powered through their half of the ninth. With two outs and two on, a single down the left field line scored two to tie the game. They were able to pull out a run in the eleventh for the win 6-5.
