GJ Rockies: Time on the win column cut short with 10-3 loss to Missoula

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) The Grand Junction Rockies started off the homestand with a win, but that strong performance came to a halt in game two against Missoula.

Both teams scored a pair of runs in the third inning, but the Osprey got the best of Alex Balog's fourth start when they grabbed four runs in the fourth. All in all Balog gave up seven runs off ten hits, just five of those were earned.

When the Rockies bullpen tried to get the team back in the game, they didn't have much luck. Every pitcher save Helmis Rodriguez gave up one run through the remainder of the game.

In the mean time, the Rockies offense couldn't produce much against Missoula's right-handed pitcher Tom Jameson. He'd go seven innings with seven strikeouts.
