Rockies fall to Chukars, Jonathan Gray promoted

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Idaho Falls Chukars bested the Grand Junction Rockies 3-2 Sunday night at Suplizio field.
Zach Jemiola threw seven innings with three strikeouts and giving up two earned runs.
The game was tied into the ninth before an RBI double from a Chukars pinch hitter put them ahead for good.
The Rockies fall to 21-15 and will head to Ogden for tomorrow's series opener.
The Rockies announced after the game that pitchers Jonathan Gray and Jacob Newberry have been promoted.
Gray will head to High A Modesto, while Newberry is off to Low A Asheville.
