GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Despite a poor shooting performance in the second half, the 13th ranked Lady Mavericks are still undefeated after beating Colorado Christian 68-58 on Friday.

The Mavs shot 8-for-25 in the second half Friday night, but made free throws in the end to hold off the charging Cougars. CMU is 11-0 and 7-0 in RMAC thus far.

The CMU men needed a win over CCU to snap a two game losing skid. A big night by freshman center Ryan Stephan, who recorded a career high four blocks to go with 13 points, boosted the Mavs to a 61-56 victory.

The Mavs are now 8-3 overall with a 5-2 conference record.

Both teams face Colorado Mines at home tomorrow night. The women tip off at 5:30pm at Brownson Arena.
