2010 Countdown: #2 - Harper-mania
The 11 Sports team continued its countdown of the 11 most exciting stories of 2010 on Thursday with the 2nd most exciting story: the impact of Bryce Harper at the Juco World Series.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- The 11 Sports team continued its countdown of the 11 most exciting stories of 2010 on Thursday with the 2nd most exciting story: the impact of Bryce Harper at the Juco World Series.
Harper was the main attraction entering the week, and didn't disappoint. He answered questions for 30 minutes at a press conference the day before the Series started. He then broke out in his third game, launching a pair of home runs and eight RBI's in a win over Iowa Western.
The drama continued in Bryce's fourth game as the 17-year old was ejected for his actions following a called third strike. It was the last time that Harper suited up as an amateur.
Four days later he was drafted by the Washington Nationals with the number-one overall pick in the MLB Amateur Draft.
