2013 RMAC Tournament: Championship Day

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - CSU Pueblo was undefeated in this years RMAC tournament coming into Sunday, so to win the title Colorado Mesa was going to have to beat the Thunderwolves twice.

In game one the Mavs jumped all over the Thunderwolves, scoring 6 runs off pitcher Sean Gavin. Joey Danner pitched all 9 innings for Mesa and only gave up 1 run.

Cody Lahman started in game two and the Mavs couldn't find their rhythm on offense. Pueblo scored 7 early runs and even a late Mesa rally couldn't bring home the title.

CSU Pueblo won the RMAC tournament and thus recieves an automatic birth into the NCAA Super Regionals next week.

Because of CMU's stellar play all year, they recieved the number 2 overall seed.
