Shanahan: No Decision On Starting Punter
DENVER (AP) - Denver Broncos coach Mike Shanahan says he hasn't made a decision on who will be the team's punter this season.
Brett Kern and Sam Paulescu have been competing during training camp and the pre-season, and they'll both get a chance to show their stuff against Arizona on Friday.
Shanahan says the two will rotate on Friday, with Paulescu going first.
In the first three games of the pre-season, Kern is averaging 53.8 yards on four punts, and Paulescu is averaging 50 yards on two punts.
