Rookie Linebacker Quietly Impresses Broncos Coaches

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Rookie linebacker Wesley Woodyard lets his play do most of the talking.

Denver Broncos defensive coordinator Bob Slowik says Woodyard is "not about making a lot of noise," and is "all about going about his business."

Woodyard is a free agent from Kentucky. He says he enjoys flying under the radar, going out and doing his job, and completing his assignments.

The lack of public attention has been further emphasized since his arrival in Denver. Throughout training camp, attending fans called him "Woodward" instead of "Woodyard."

But Woodyard says he's used to it - and that people will start getting his name right if he continues to make plays.
