COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame - Colorad Chapter (NFFCC) has named Mesa State running back Bobby Coy as its player of the week on Tuesday.
Coy rushed for 201 yards on 34 carriers against West Texas A&M last Thursday night and scored two touchdowns in a 23-20 loss.
The NFFCC chooses its player of the week from a pool that includes each NCAA school in the state of Colorado including Division I, Division I-AA and Division II.
NFFCC member schools include Colorado, Colorado State, Air Force, Northern Colorado, Mesa State, Colorado Mines, Adams State, Western State, Fort Lewis, CSU-Pueblo, and Colorado College.
Coy will be back on the field this Saturday when Mesa State travels to face the tenth ranked team in the country Central Washington.
