GRAND JUNCTION - The Palisade Bulldogs started an eight game stretch against Western Slope League opponents with a blowout win over the Battle Mountain Huskies 43-0 at Stocker Stadium on Thursday night.

For the second straight week the Bulldogs shared the wealth in the offensive backfield with Aaron Wagler, Travis Fehlman and Jesse Brannon each scoring rushing touchdowns in the first half.

Wagler capped the opening drive of the night with a one yard touchdown to take a 7-0 lead.

Fehlman scored a pair of touchdowns in the half, one from seven yards and the other from 10 yards that gave Palisade a 29-0 lead.

Brannon scored the final touchdown of the half that gave the Bulldogs a 36-0 lead at that point.
