The Hotchkiss Bulldogs set the tone on Friday night from the opening kickoff, literally.
The Cedaredge Bruins muffed the opening kick and the Bulldogs' Paul Manzella recovered the fumble. Ryan Spor would connect with JJ Baer on the next play and Hotchkiss would cruise to a 49-7 victory.
The Bulldogs improve to 2-0 on the season. The Bruins fall to 0-2.
Hotchkiss travels to Aspen next Friday. Cedaredge hosts Delta's junior varsity squad.
