GRAND JUNCTION - Freshman quarterback Sean Rubalcaba went through some serious growing pains on Friday afternoon as the Grand Junction Tigers were the victim of their third straight blowout loss. Highlands Ranch (3-0) remained undefeated with the 42-7 victory.
Rubalcaba only completed two passes in 14 attempts for a total of one yard passing. He also threw four interceptions in the loss.
Justin Trujillo was the lone bright spot for the Tigers (0-3) rushing the ball 17 times for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Grand Junction's next game is a big rivalry matchup against the Fruita Monument Wildcats on Friday, September 19 at Stocker Stadium at 7:00 p.m.
