OLATHE, Colo. - Olathe continued an impressive start to their 2008 campaign on Friday night with a 35-0 win over Monte Vista, and they did it all without senior quarterback Garhett Jurgens.
Jurgens was removed from the game after taking a hard hit while being sacked in the first quarter of Friday's game.
Sophomore Keifer Wollert stepped in to lead the Pirates to a shutout win and a 3-0 record on the season.
Olathe is home next weekend against Roaring Fork.
