ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - The Broncos brought back receiver Clifford Russell today, a day after trading Keary Colbert to Seattle for a conditional draft pick.
Russell was with Denver throughout training camp before being waived in late August.
He was back home in Virginia when he received a call from his agent saying the Broncos were interested.
He had 10 catches for 86 yards for Denver in the preseason.
