CU's Offensive Line Faces Tough Challenge When Texas Visits

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado Buffaloes will face No. 7 Texas in Boulder next week with an offensive line riddled with injuries.

The Buffs started the season without two potential contributors, one with knee problems and another with academic problems.

Last week Colorado lost two starting linemen for the season, one with a blown knee and another with a broken leg.

That leaves the Buffaloes in a vulnerable position against Texas, which leads the football bowl subdivision - formerly division I-A - with 16 sacks for 144 yards.

Brian Orakpo of Texas is the Big 12's sacks leader with 5 1/2.
