GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The 2nd annual Helping Hearts Variety Show featured silent auctions, dance groups and entertainment, food and more.

All proceeds went to benefit the Special Olympic athletes throughout Mesa County. Former Denver Bronco Vance Johnson made a guest appearance to show his support and donate to the organization.

"Growing up, I was always around Special Olympic athletes, because they're athletes just like myself," said Vance Johnson. "They have the same passion that we have as athletes, whether you're a pro or whether you're a kid that has an ability that won't allow you to become a pro."
