Warriors Can't Hang With Eaglecrest

GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors had a tough time hanging with the Eaglecrest Raptors on Friday afternoon in a 24-13 loss at Stocker Stadium.

Eaglecrest had come into the game with only one win compared to four losses on the season, but three of those losses came to teams ranked in the top seven in the 5A state rankings.

The Warriors got seven receptions and 91 yards from Clay Kame in the game and one touchdown rushing on nine carries from Nolan Curtins.

The Warriors next game is Friday, October 10 at Montrose High School against the Indians.
