GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors knew they needed a four game weekend sweep of Durango and Cortez to finish their conference season without a loss. They didn't just win, they won without allowing a run, all weekend long.
The Warriors disposed of the Panthers on Saturday with 10-0 and 22-0 wins at Kronkright Field.
The win will likely allow Central to host a round of districts for the state playoffs which begin next weekend.
