GRAND JUNCTION - Freshman quarterback Sean Rubalcaba passed for one touchdown and rushed for two scores in the first half as the Grand Junction Tigers shutout the Durango Demons 37-0 on Friday night at Stocker Stadium.
The win is the Tigers second win in their last three games to improve to 2-5 on the season and 1-1 in the Southwestern Conference.
Next up for the Tigers is longtime rival Central High School on Saturday night, October 18 at Stocker Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
