OLATHE, Colo. - The Olathe Pirates are not 8-0, and it doesn't look like they have any intentions of slowing down.
The sixth ranked Pirates jumped out to a 28-0 first quarter lead against the Gunnison Cowboys on Friday night in Olathe in route to a 56-14 win.
Marvin Rivera found the endzone on more than one occasion and Dylan Markley returned a punt for a touchdown in the Pirate victory.
Olathe has Basalt next Friday before the much anticipated regular season finale against state ranked Grand Valley.
