GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Mesa State men's soccer team was defeated 3-1 by the Metro State Roadrunners on Sunday.
The loss ends the Mavericks season with a record of 10-10-0. The team failed to qualify for post-season play.
The women's team scored first, but lost in overtime 2-1. Despite the loss the team did qualify for the post-season and is expected to play at the Colorado School of Mines on Wednesday.
