Broncos Sign Tatum Bell For 2nd Stint

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - The injury-riddled Broncos have signed free-agent running back Tatum Bell to his second stint in Denver.

Bell is a fifth-year running back who played three seasons for the Broncos before he was traded to Detroit in March 2007. The Lions released him Sept. 2.

In 47 career games, he has averaged 4.8 yards per carry, rushing 525 times for 2,524 yards and 14 touchdowns. He has caught 61 passes for 362 yards.

The Broncos drafted him in the second round, 41st overall, out of Oklahoma State in 2004.

The Broncos waived wide receiver Glenn Martinez Tuesday.
