ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Broncos cornerback Karl Paymah sends frequent text messages to his good buddy Domonique Foxworth.
They remain close, even though it was Paymah's play that led to Foxworth being shipped to Atlanta after Foxworth fell behind Paymah on the depth chart in training camp.
Paymah says Foxworth is doing well and "finally has a chance to start."
Foxworth knocked down three passes in a 34-20 win over New Orleans on Sunday, his best game of the season.
After starting out slow, Foxworth has eight tackles and five pass deflections, all coming in the last three games.
Paymah and Foxworth were part of Denver's 2005 draft class. They both figured they'd be starting cornerbacks for Denver.
Now, they've gone in different directions. Foxworth finding his way in Atlanta, while Paymah has taken over for Boss Bailey as he recovers from a groin injury.
