Selanne Scores Twice, Ducks Beat Avalanche

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Teemu Selanne scored two power-play goals and Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 29 saves in the Anaheim Ducks' 4-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night.

Selanne and Chris Kunitz scored first-period goals with the man advantage and Selanne added an insurance goal in the third to help the Ducks win on home ice for the second time in six games.

Chris Pronger had a goal and an assist for Anaheim.

Colorado forward Ian Laperriere ended Giguere's bid for a shutout, deflecting in Jon-Michael Liles' shot 2:13 into the third period.
