GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Mesa State women's basketball team got their second win in as many days, defeating Dominican University 64-54 Saturday night.
A night after the Mavericks (2-3) got their first win of the season, they got their second behind 19 points from Stephanie Delgado.
The men got an easy win Friday but had a much tougher time Satruday against Johnson & Wales. The Mavericks improved to 3-2 with a 71-68 win.
Jase Herl led all scores with 24 points followed by 21 from Ryan Matthews.
