Three Sign To Play Volleyball At Mesa State

GRAND JUNCTION - The early signing period has proved to be a productive one for the Mesa State women's volleyball team as head coach Dave Flemming inked three new recruits to play for the Mavericks next season.

Middle blockers Courtney Searls and Rachael Beaty, as well as setter Kendra Glendenning all signed with the Mavs.

Searls is 5'11" from Upland High School in Upland, California. Flemming describes Searls as a "solid blocker and brings great energy and enthusiasm to the court."

Beaty is the tallest of the recruits standing at 6'1" tall from Piedre Vista High School in Farmington, New Mexico. "She already hits the ball as hard and as high as many RMAC student-athletes," Flemming said.

Glendenning comes to Mesa State from Clovis High School in Clovis, California. She is a 5'7" setter that Flemming describes as having a resume that is "one of the most impressive I've seen since recruiting at Mesa State."
