FRUITA, Colo. - The Fruita Monument girl's basketball team came up four points short in its home opener against Fairview on Friday night in a 45-41 loss.
Fruita is now 1-1 this season and does not play again until next weekends three day long Wildcat Invitational at Fruita Monument High School.
The Wildcats will play against Battle Mountain, Thunderridge, and Carbon County, Utah in the tournament.
