FRUITA, Colo. - The Central Warriors failed to make a field goal in the second quarter of a loss to Thunderridge on Thursday night at the Wildcat Invitational.
Four Thunderridge players scored in double figures in a 61-40 win over Central.
Central was successful on only three field goals in the entire first half scoring eight points in the first quarter, and only seven points in the second quarter - all second quarter points from the free-throw line.
Junior guard Amy Kame scored a game high 16 points, and Haleigh Higgins added 11 for the Warriors in the loss.
The Warriors will be back in action at the Wildcat Invitational on Friday against the Columbine Rebels at 2:45 p.m.
