Warriors Lose Lead In 4th, Lose Game

FRUITA, Colo. - Amy Kame's 24 points for the Central Warriors was not enough to pull her team to victory down the stretch against the Columbine Rebels on Friday afternoon at the Wildcat Invitational. The 56-48 loss leaves the Warriors with a 0-2 record at the tournament.

Central held the lead in the fourth quarter before Columbine's Olivia Legshock scored two of her 28 points to take a 44-43 lead. The Rebels never trailed again in the win.

Demitra Apergis added 10 points for the Rebels. Haleigh Higgins scored 12 points for the Warriors in the loss.

Central will wrap up play at the Wildcat Invitational on Saturday afternoon against Battle Mountain at 12:30 p.m.
