GRAND JUNCTION - The Mesa State men's basketball team defeated the Colorado Mines Orediggers 70-69 on Friday night thanks to a game winning basket with five seconds remaining in the game.
The Mesa State women's team were not as fortunate. They lost to the Orediggers 67-49.
Both teams will be back on the floor at Brownson Arena on Sunday afternoon against Colorado Christian.
