GRAND JUNCTION, Colo - The Mesa State women's basketball team lost 74-58 to Northern State on Monday. The Mavericks were led by Stephanie Delgado with 18 points. Hannah Breidel had 16 points.
The team is off until January 9th when they host Nebraska-Kearney.
SAINT GEORGE, Utah - The Mesa Sate men's basketball team lost in their firs game of a two-day tournament at Dixie State College. The Mavericks lost to the host team, 71-59.
Ryan Mathews led the Mavericks with 27 points, but was the only player on the team to reach double figures. They face Western Oregon on Tuesday.
