GRAND JUNCTION - The Central Warriors boys and girls basketball teams won easily in their respective Southwestern League opening rivlary games against the Fruita Monument Wildcats.
The girls started off the night with a 20 point win over the Wildcats 52-32.
The boys then followed suit with a 29 point win 67-38.
The boys started the game on a 13-0 run, but the Wildcats quickly responded by going on a 15-3 run of their own.
Both the Warriors and the Wildcats have the week off before returning to the floor next Friday night.
