BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Two former Colorado football players have been sentenced to at least a year in prison after pleading guilty to an apartment robbery.

Bernard Jackson, a former starting quarterback, and Lionel Harris, a safety, pleaded guilty Wednesday to burglary and menacing as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

They were sentenced to 5 1/2 years in prison but could be released after a year for good behavior and particpating in rehabilitation programs.

They were accused of breaking into an apartment and stealing $500 last June. Authorities say the pair were wearing masks and had a handgun.

The 23-year-old Jackson was Colorado's starting quarterback in 2006 but was academically ineligible for his senior season in 2007.

The 24-year-old Harris last played in the 2007 season.
