GRAND JUNCTION - The Mesa State women's basketball team lost its 11th straight game after a 62-50 loss on Thursday night to CSU-Pueblo.
The Lady-Mavs climbed back from a 13 point halftime deficit to take a 44-41 lead after Hannah Walsh hit a three pointer from the wing. The Mavs and Thunderwolves swapped buckets for the next few minutes before the T-Wolves pulled away for good.
Mesa State has one of its best chances to end its losing streak and pick up its first conference win of the season on Friday night when they face off with another winless team, New Mexico Highlands. Friday night's game starts at 6:00 p.m. at Brownson Arena.
