PALISADE, Colo - The Palisade boys basketball team jumped out to a 5-0 lead en route to a 15-point win over Eagle Valley on Friday.

After falling just short in several previous games this season, the Bulldogs put together a full game to close out Eagle Valley 65-50.

The Palisade girls looked like they were on their way to their second win of the season, leading by one point late in the fourth quarter. But Eagle Valley retook the lead and held on to win 47-45.

Sarah Hays had 10 points for Bulldogs, Elise Heutzenroeder added nine points in the 2-point loss.

The Palisade boys and girls are at Battle Mountain tomorrow.
