Fruita Boys Lose; Girls Win

FRUITA, Colo - The Fruita Monument boys had a three point lead over Durango at halftime, but lost to the Demons by four on Saturday.

Chance Muller scored 12 points for the Wildcats. Alex Mende and Drew Bridges each scored eight points in the 44-40 loss.

In the girls game, Durango star Katarina Garcie scored 27 points but the Wildcats held off the Demons for a one point win.

Mary McGee led Fruita with 20 points and Taylor Johnson scored 10 in the Wildcats' 54-53 win.
