Mesa Softball Starts Strong

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo - The Mesa State softball team is off to a 4-2 start after opening the season at a three-day tournament in Colorado Springs.

Mesa State got wins over Minnesota Duluth University, University of Mary, Augustana College and Southwest Minnesota State University. The two losses came against Winona State University and St. Cloud State.

The Mavericks play a four game series at the Metropolitan State College of Denver next Saturday and Sunday.
