DENVER (AP) - Cornerback Andre Goodman has agreed to a five-year deal with the Denver Broncos.

Goodman helped the Miami Dolphins turn around their season last year. He's the third defensive back the Broncos have lured to Denver since free agency began late last week.

The team has also added veteran safeties Brian Dawkins and Renaldo Hill, who's played with Goodman in Miami for the last three seasons.

The deal reached with Goodman tonight is worth up to $25.2 million, with more than $10 million of it guaranteed.

The 30-year-old replaces Dre' Bly, who was released last month when the Broncos' new braintrust of coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Brian Xanders jettisoned five defensive starters. That cleared $37 million in cap room.

Goodman will team up with star cornerback Champ Bailey in Denver.
